Answers to what guests most often want to know before booking.
The house sleeps a maximum of 4 guests: one double bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds, each with its own bathroom.
Airport transfers to and from the house are included in the price. Our driver will meet you with a sign reading “Beachhaus Karen”. Just send us your flight number and arrival time. The drive takes about 10 minutes.
Check-in is from 11:00 am and check-out by 10:00 am. You will be welcomed in person; there is no door code. Depending on occupancy, an earlier check-in or later check-out may be possible, just ask.
Yes, throughout the house. You will find the access details in the house.
Yes, towels and bed linen are provided and included in the price.
You can request a baby cot from us. Just send us a message.
There are no shops in the complex. The island capital Sal Rei is about a 15-minute drive away, and a taxi costs around €10. The largest supermarket is Boa Compras. There is a smaller selection in Rabil, near the airport. Taxis are always easy to find.
The beach bar and restaurant Pérola de Chaves is only 400 m away and open daily. On request, breakfast is brought to the house for €10 per breakfast. Please let us know at least one week before you arrive. There are more restaurants in Sal Rei.
No, the tap water is not meant for drinking. It is best to buy drinking water when you do your main shop in Sal Rei.
A washing machine and a dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets are hard to find on the island, so it is best to pack a few.
It does not happen often, but it occasionally does, and it then usually affects the whole island.
Yes. Euros and credit cards are accepted almost everywhere, and you will often get your change in euros too.
